Providing seed paddy samples of high yielding rice varieties acceptable grain quality characters, pest and diseases resistance & resistant to abiotic stresses.

How to obtain the service
(i) For information on new varieties inquire from RRDI or find out through media published or call 1920 toll free service.
(ii) request samples from RRDI. Seed paddy of (1 kg per farmer) is issued at the Institute to evaluate the farmer’s preference
Fees payable to obtain services
Service charge for 1kg of seed paddy
Samba - Rs.49/=
Nadu – Rs.48/=
Bag – Rs. 5/=
Time for submitting request
During office hours in working days 8.30am – 4.15 pm
