Our Targets
- Re-organization of Administration Division in the view of developing a
competitive organization culture
- Establish transparent and open promotional and transfer schemes through
a score and merit system
- Initiate a self Assessment type Staff Appraisal and Increment system for
the administrative staff
- Establish "Quality Circles" in all the branches and regional divisions
enabling worker participation and collective responsibility in decision making
- Establish a Field investigation and Inquiry Unit ( Flying Squad) to expedite
the resolution of issues and corruption in the offices and other centers attached
to DOA
- Prepare an Annual Human Resources Development Training Plan for the Technical
and Non Technical staff
- Organize General Management/Public Administration Training courses at SLIDA
for Agriculture Service staff who are holding the Administrative positions
- Review the present status of distribution of vehicles and office resources
among various centers, divisions and institutes under the DOA and prepare
a redistribution plan for equal and fair distribution of resources
- Prepare a "Who's Who" booklet for DOA Administration division
- Review the job lists of each cadre of office administration and prepare
new job descriptions/ code of conducts for the staff
